Dutch-NetherlandsEnglish (United Kingdom)

Welcome to the Winnefall website!

In 1983 a cheerful pug walked into my garden and right into my heart to be collected soon afterwards by a very distraught owner. His name was ET and he was a stubborn, funny-headstrong, courageous little boy who wanted to explore the neighbourhood. A month later we bought Famke and with her my love for this breed was established and sealed. When I moved to the Netherlands from South Africa in 1991 she came with…..and as time allowed, I became more involved with this breed.

Kira

At the Commedia club match of 2000 we started our show career with Kira.
The judge was Bas Bosch.
In his final analysis he stated that he had high expectations of her and wished her a fruitful future.
This has been materialised in her being the mother, grandmother and also great-grandmother of Dutch Youth Champions and Champions. Three of her off-spring , her daughter, grand-daughter and Great grand-daughter became:

- Best Bitch "Commedia" 2003
- Best Bitch "Commedia" 2007
- Best Pug "Commedia"  2010

A small line with's great succes.

Professional Breeder

I have a small but very selective breeding programme which I believe contributes towards a better and true type pug. It is my wish to contribute towards a healthier and better pug population. Quality and not quantity are of the utmost importance. My preference needles to say, goes out towards the pure fawn/apricot coloured pug.
During the past years we have regularly competed in shows and have won many valuable prizes. I believe a professional breeder should appear frequently in the showring, not only to show others what he/she has brought forth in the kennel, but also to get the confirmation of type thus approval of the breeding programme, from the judges….

Enjoy

I would like to thank you for your visit and sincerely hope that you will enjoy viewing these pages.
